Tying the Knot: Training for Weddings

Getting ready for the big day, whether you are the bride, groom or part of the extended wedding party can be great motivation to get into shape. It’s also the perfect excuse to get healthy, learn invaluable eating habits and weight loss tools that you and your partner can use beyond the big day.

Getting in shape for your wedding can be an opportunity to have a break away from your partner or a chance to spend some quality time together training together. Even though a bride and groom normally have different physique goals for looking their best on the big day, I have trained many couples together in the same session leading up to their wedding and it is always fun and enjoyable.

One of the best parts about training with your partner is that your joint training sessions are one of the very rare times you get to relax and enjoy each other’s company and have a break from the stresses of wedding planning and getting everything ready for handover at your jobs while you are away on your honeymoon. Think of training together for your wedding as your ‘couples time out.’ Some couples I have trained weren’t sure at the beginning that they would enjoy training with their partners, but once they started, every one of them has loved it.

Here at Inner Mastery we can devise a number of wedding programs suited to your timetable in the lead up. Whether you have 6-8 weeks or 6-8 months to get in shape for your wedding we will give you the guidance and expert coaching to allow you to switch off, achieve the body of dreams for your big day and have one less thing to worry about (and enjoy some fun down time with your partner that will help you remember why you are getting married in the first place!)

If you’re wedding duties are keeping you out of the gym, or if training outside we have also devised an intense online boot camp to get you amazing shape for your big day.

All training programs include nutritional analysis and coaching and online programs for you to follow when training on your own that can be accessed from your smart phone.
